One Printer for White and Black Garments
You can print both white and black garments with one AnaJet printer. With AnaJet, you do not have to choose one or the other. To print on black and white garments, simply install CMYK ink cartridges and 4 white ink cartridges. The rest is automatic. Click your print program for black shirt printing. It's good to go. If you print only white or light colored garments, install two sets of CMYK ink carts.
White Ink and Direct to Garment Printers
Today all direct to garment printers' white inks are based on Titanium Dioxide(TO2). TO2 is a heavy mineral often found in white paint, and tends to settle and often clog the ink delivery system. Due to the characteristics of TO2, printers with TO2 ink requires a fair amount of maintenance.
TO2-based White Inks have three requirements for good ink flow:
(a) Ink needs to be agitated regularly, by frequent use, head cleaning or shaking of ink cartridges.
(b) White ink must not be exposed to air, otherwise ink will gum up clogging the ink delivery system. With AnaJet's closed loop ink delivery system, you do not need to be concerned on this point. Ink bottles are absolutely no no, as inks will be exposed to open air.
(c) Printer maintenance station needs regular cleaning with Cleaning Applicators(provided) to remove ink residues.

A Primer On Black Garment Printing
In today’s technology, black garment printing in general involves a three step process, regardless of the printing method or printer used.
-Step one is the pretreatment of garments to make it white ink receptive. It's a simple spray of pretreatment liquid on the printing area, but it holds the key to a successful black shirt printing. Learn the recommended process and strictly adhere to it.
-Step two is printing with white ink to provide a white undercoat where the colored inks will be applied. Most brands of direct to garment printers have problems with white ink clogging the ink delivery system. AnaJet's closed loop ink delivery system is engineered to help white ink flow with minimum maintenance.
- The final step is printing the image with colored inks over the white undercoat.
This three step process is common with all dark garment printers, regardless it is digital or conventional screen printing.
The Efficiency of AnaJet 125
With a common "Direct to Garment" printer, you must choose between a white shirt only, or a black-and-white shirt machine. The black-and-white shirt machine of course slows down the production rates for all shirts. No such problem exists with AnaJet printers. With AnaJet, you can easily switch back and forth between white shirt and black shirt printing modes, without the loss of maximum efficiency. It is an added advantage of AnaJet engineering.
