Epson 4880 - We encourage customers to purchase the 220 Mil Extended Cartridges given the amount of ink required to prime the lines of this printer. It's also a much better value! New 4880 setup requires 30-40% of a 110 Mil standard cartridge to prime the lines of the printer. Therefore, a new user’s printer will read the cartridges are empty after they have only used 60-70% of the 110 Mil cartridge and require replacement. This does not include any ink that may be wasted by inexperienced users performing unnecessary cleanings and the auto cleaning cycles of the 4880.
