The back light feature is great for inspecting pinholes, emulsion breakdowns, exposure effectiveness (on half tones) and fine lines during the washout process. The HIX washout booth is formed from a single piece of polyethylene plastic molded construction which makes it virtually leak-proof.


It is also chemical resistant, rust proof and impact resistant. The standard 1" drain and 1" hose hooks up easily to your drain system. The washout stand consists of solid welded aluminum frame construction with tooless assembly.

The TT180 is a great fit for small shops that perform spot color printing where detail is not a major concern. Depending on the sensitivity of the emulsion you use, you can still get fast exposures with the bar lighting system consisting of six high output actinic UV lamps. Light scatter has always been an issue with bar lighting systems, but the deep draw blanket powered by a 115 Volt vacuum pump holds art and screen so tight that any undercutting by light is held to a bare minimum. The digital timer and auto-shut off are standard on this unit which will hold screens up 25” x 31.” Light and compact, this unit can be moved easily in any dynamic work situation.

The Halux 1200 is HIX's answer to the needs of the modern production shop. HIX E/EA series dryers are for screen printers who are just starting up or are on a tight budget. These dryers are built with the HIX standard for quality and reliability and provide all of the basic needs to cure plastisol inks. These dryers are not recommended for high moisture/water-based inks. The HIX Magnum and HIX Premier models are better suited for these applications.
