To help you get started here is one common and general rule of thumb. For printing on soft items such as shirts, mouse pads, caps, tote bags, etc. These would typically be printed with Digital Heat Transfer paper. We offer heat transfer papers for use in standard ink jet printers, color laser printers. color copiers and commercial offset printers.

For printing on hard surface items such as mugs, picture frames, tiles, license plates, etc. This requires Dye Sublimation printing.
